The Strategy Analytics report,MWC 2009: Touchscreens Take Center Stage for User Experience, highlights the five top devices which provide the most compelling user experience showcased at Mobile World Congress, as determined by analysts from the Strategy Analytics Wireless Device Lab.Touchscreen devices were at the heart of all five devices chosen. Personalization and customization have become a key focus of the user experience, especially as device capabilities are enhanced and users add more applications to their devices.
Research from Strategy Analytics has found that mobile devices can compete with personal navigation devices (PNDs), commented Paul Brown, Senior Analyst in the Strategy Analytics User Experience Practice.The announcement of the Nuvifone M20 and G60 by Garmin-Asus represents the first foray into the mobile device space from traditional PND companies, demonstrating that the best form of defense is a bold attack.
